Feel Good Drag
by
Anberlin
This song is pretty fun to sing on vocals. The verses are probably the best part, they are low with a few varying pitches that might throw you off if you don't know the song well. The choruses are fun, but very cramped. The lead and backing vocals and both charted here, so some of the notes that you might want to hold out get cut off. However, I would bet that this song has charted harmonies, and this will be a 2-part chorus. The bridge is tricky; you definitely need to know the song here. Overall, this is a pretty good song that I would say is worth the $2, especially since the other parts are pretty fun as well.

Chiron

All That Remains
Let me say this first: Your leg and/or bass pedal will likely not survive this song.
Now then, the song is pretty fun. The bass pedal is insanely fast, and very hard to pull off with one foot/pedal. There are some fast rolls here, too. If you get tired, lucky for you, there is an acoustic break in the middle where the drums don't do too much, just some cymbal rolls. Would I recommend this song? If you are up for the challenge, then yes. However, drummers just starting out on expert should beware, this song is definitely not for them.

Smooth Criminal
by
Alien Ant Farm
This is a great song on drums. The verse beat isn't too tricky, but the off-beat bass might trick you the first couple times. The pre-chorus isn't too tricky either, but it has a different hi-hat rhythm with the same bass beat. The chorus might take a little to get used to with its quick hits on the blue pad mixed with more off-beat bass. Then you get the bridge/gtr solo, which is by far the hardest part of the song. You have a 16th note hi-hat pattern, bursting to 32th notes at times, and going across the red, yellow, and blue pads at the end. The ending has a very quick burst across all 4 pads which is tricky to hit, too. Overall, this is a must-own for any Expert drummer.

21 Guns
by
Green Day
This song is an awesome song all-around. It has a really sweet high note at "from a stone" before the solo. It is a bunch of fun to sing, despite it being pretty easy. That easiness and repetitiveness is what makes this a 4-star review. Would I recommend it? Probably not, but if you like to sing and like Green Day, you might want to check this one out.

Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)
by
Styx
Wow. This song just has incredible drums. It has plenty of fun rolls that aren't too hard, and TONS (repeat: TONS) of variety. I can not stop playing this amazing drum track. If you were going to pick up one song from the REO/Styx pack for drums, this is definitely it. The only letdown is the parts where you have to hit R and B in the middle or a R roll. But, the ending is epic, so don't let that get you down.

Typical
by
Mute Math
This song is very fun on bass. This bassist goes all over the place and hardly ever settles for just keeping the beat. If you are a hardcore bass player, or even just play it a little, I'd say Typical is a great buy.

I Don't Care
by
Fall Out Boy
This song is surprisingly fun. The verse riff has a fun off-rhythm and has a fun solo at the end. It's probably the funnest of the 3 FOB songs on guitar. I would say more, but there really isn't that much more to say. It's just a pretty fun song.

New Way Home
by
Foo Fighters
New Way Home is the longest song off of TCATS, and it just might be the best final song of an album ever. It starts out medium-fast, with chords and broken-up chords, and is probably the best up-tempo song to voxtar. Once Dave Grohl sings "When I try to run away," the song quiets down to just very quiet guitar and almost whispered vocals. Drums and bass are nowhere to be found for a while, but once they do come in, the song slowly but surely speeds up and builds up pressure. After a while, the pressure is all let out and everything goes crazy. The ending has a fun riff, but Harmonix may have somewhat ruined it with how it ends. The album version fades out, but this one just all of a sudden stops. It may have been Foo Fighters' thing too, I don't know. Either way, this song is awesome. Pick it up if you like it.

Walking After You
by
Foo Fighters
Walking After You is slow, but kind of fun. It's made up of mostly chords and broken-up chords. It's not really anything special to talk about, because it repeats quite a bit. It's a really good relaxing song, so if you want to relax and slow down, play this one to simmer down. Pick it up if you like the song or want a good, slow song.

February Stars
by
Foo Fighters
February Stars starts out slow, and the very beginning only has guitar and vocals, so make sure you keep your rhythm or you might go too fast. About 2/3 of the way through, the song really just rocks out. The vocals get epic, and the guitar chords get heavy. This is an awesome song to voxtar, so if you like to voxtar, get this one for sure.

Enough Space
by
Foo Fighters
Enough SPACE!!!!!!!! is a somewhat fun song. The chord changes in the choruses are a little frustrating at times, though. It also has a bridge that definitely should have been a solo if Hey, Johnny Park! had a solo. It's also pretty short, so the fun doesn't last very long. Pick it up if you want to really rock out.

See You
by
Foo Fighters
See You is a fun half-acoustic feel-good song. The acoustic parts have really fun chord changes, and the chorus riff is pretty fun too. The bridge is fun in the same way that Afterlife's slow parts of the verses on drums are fun. This is a good party song to pick up.

My Hero
by
Foo Fighters
My Hero is really not all that much fun for me. It's got chords (big surprise), and it's got single notes in a pretty fun pattern. The bad part is that it's so repetitive that it isn't as much fun as, say, Up in Arms. This is still a good song to pick up, though, and I'm sure the drums are epic. However, it just wasn't as fun as some of the other songs on this album.

Up in Arms
by
Foo Fighters
Up in Arms starts out slow, with seemingly random notes all over the place, and then picks up tempo for the last half. The fast part is mostly chords (except for a solo, which is pretty fun), but it's fast enough to make it fun. Again, pick it up if you like the song.

Wind Up
by
Foo Fighters
Wind Up doesn't seem too scary for the first half. It's got a tricky riff that alternates on side-by-side 2-note chords (GR, RY, YB), but other than that, it's not that hard...until you hit the bridge. The bridge hits you with 24th note alt-strumming (6 notes per beat) almost constantly for 6 measures at a medium BPM. It's really fast, so this is definitely the hardest FC on TCATS. I would recommend this the same way I recommended My Poor Brain and Hey, Johnny Park!, except that if you are a fan of fast alt-stumming and want a challenge, pick this up.

My Poor Brain
by
Foo Fighters
My Poor Brain is pretty fun. The choruses are fun to just rock out to, and the verses are fun to play, too. The intro is pretty crazy, though, making this the third hardest FC on TCATS. Like Hey, Johnny Park!, this song is probably not one to get if you are low on cash, but if you like the song, pick it up.

Hey, Johnny Park!
by
Foo Fighters
Hey, Johnny Park! is a medium-speed song that isn't all that hard. It's got mostly chords, but the HO/PO rate is different; you can tell by the intro being almost all strums. It's got a solo, but I personally don't think it really qualifies as a solo. It's pretty fun to play, and I would recommend it if you like the song or if you also play drums, because I'm sure the drums are awesome.

Monkey Wrench
by
Foo Fighters
Monkey Wrench is familiar to almost everyone who has played GH2. It's a lot harder this time around, though. The chords changes are trickier, and it overall requires a lot of stamina. I think that it is probably the second hardest FC on TCATS. It may be hard, but man, is it fun! If you only can pick up one song off of TCATS, get this one.

Doll
by
Foo Fighters
Doll is slow and short. The guitar is mainly a chordfest with root notes played too, but be careful of two HO/PO sections that might catch you off guard. It's probably my least favorite song off of TCATS, just because it's so short.

Baba O'Riley
by
The Who
If this were any old song, Baba O'Riley wouldn't be that great. But, since the song is just epic, that makes it better. The guitar doesn't come in for a long while: after the first verse. And It doesn't really pick up until after the second verse, at the mini-solo. Then the chords get a little more fun, but only for a small while. Then you get to the solo, which in itself is completely epic. Then it's chords to the BRE. Would I recommend it? Probably not over Behind Blue Eyes, but at the same time, yes, so pick it up if you've got some spare cash. If you can only get one though, and you're playing for guitar, get Behind Blue Eyes.

Behind Blue Eyes
by
The Who
This song is epic. Epic vocals. Epic guitar. Epic song. The vocals are definitely the high point here. Almost everyone will be able to sing along to the beginning: "No one knows what it's like to be the bad man, to be the sad man, behind blue eyes". Would I recommend it? Yes. Go buy it already.

Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)
by
Stephen and the Colberts
This song doesn't have much to it on bass. There are hardly any notes, but it's better than Silver because it's an overall better song, plus the choruses have some variety. Also, it sounds epic on wah-wah. Would I recommend it? Probably not, but it's free, so get it anyway.

Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)

Stephen and the Colberts
This song makes me lol. It's just so wierd, yet somewhat good. It's a good song to squeeze on. The chord changes aren't too hard, but the song is just sweet. Would I recommend it? Maybe not, but it's free, so get it anyway.

They Say
by
Scars on Broadway
This song doesn't sound that bad as a song, but it just isn't good for Rock Band. You literally have the same strumming pattern for the entire song, and the choruses are the only parts that change it up a little but with the chords. This song could have been better had they charted the weird guitar stuff after the choruses, but they didn't. Would I recommend it? Heck no.

NOTE: I didn't actually buy this song: I have a friend w/ RB that gets DLC as well as I do, and we trade songs. I have no idea why he bought it, but I downloaded it anyway.

Who's Going Home With You Tonight
by
Trapt
This song is, overall, not that bad. The intro will definitely catch you off guard on your sightread, so be prepared, even if you've heard the song before. The verses have a pretty fun alternation between two chords, and then two single notes. The choruses are pretty much a chordfest, but with off-beat notes every so often. The bridge has some moving up and down the fretboard, and then the same as the intro. Would I recommend it? Not immediately, but if you either like Trapt or like this kind of music, pink it up.

Afterlife
by
Avenged Sevenfold
I'm gonna say this right away: GET THIS SONG.

Okay, now the review. There really isn't much not to love about this chart. The pre-chorus is so much fun to play. The part before the pre-chorus is fun to play. The verses are great headbanging sections. The choruses are good. My only problem is how they charted the post-solo bridge, especially with the quick YB and BG double hits, and the bass pedal rhythm is awkward. The part right after the second chorus is awkward too, but it's easier to figure out. Would I recommend it? Yes I would.

Perfect Insanity
by
Disturbed
If you want a challenge, you've got one with Perfect Insanity. Between the crazy bass pedal and the uber-fast rolls, this song is a challenge to 5*. Your leg will really take a beating, so be prepared (and if you've got Ride the Lightning, don't play the two in a row). Would I recommend it? Well, there are some fun parts, but I say that you should probably only get this if a) you are a good player who needs a challenge, or b) you like Disturbed.

The Kill
by
30 Seconds to Mars
Before I got this song, I thought I liked Attack better. Boy, was I wrong. This song is really fun to play on drums, the drumrolls are slightly challenging, and the beat in the verses is fun to play. Would I recommend it? If you like this type of music, then yes. However, I'm not sure if people who don't like this music would enjoy it as much.

Still Alive
by
GLaDOS
This song is really fun to sing, but my main problem is that (being a guy) I don't want to go up all the way to the octave it is originally sung in, so doing it an octave down, the low notes in the verses are tricky to hit. However, this song is still extremely catchy and fun to play, and it's definitely my favorite DLC that I have... and my only DLC. Why won't the Playstation Cards be released already so I can get some more DLC?
